mr. tam man chi, chairman of the board
mr. tam man chi, a british national, is the chairman and one of the founders of kaifa. he is currently the director of broadata (h.k.) limited, o-net technologies (group) limited, and kaifa technology (h.k.) limited. he is also the chairman of kaistar lighting (xiamen) co., ltd. mr. tam has received awards and honors including the “national friendship award,” “title of excellent worker of guangdong province,” “outstanding foreign entrepreneur of shenzhen,” and “leadership award for businessmen in shenzhen” at the first award ceremony held by the shenzhen general chamber of commerce. he has been the president of the company since july 1985, serving as director and vice chairman since november 1988. he has also served as director and vice chairman of the first, second, third, and fourth sessions of the board of directors. since january 2008 he has been the director and chairman of the fifth, sixth, and seventh sessions of the board of directors. in april 2016 he was re-elected as the director and chairman of the eighth session of the board of directors.
